That's the same filly I posted about on Accphotography's Spotsgone thread:
http://www.pedigreequery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26500
Actually, those 2 fillies are very closely related to each other & also to G1-winning sprinter Fabulous Strike. The fillies' 2nd dams are 3/4 sisters & the bay with the dark spot is out of a 1/2-sister to the dam Fabulous Strike. (We've got some of their cousins running around the property, which is how I know their family tree).
Maybe it's a Pennsylvania thing to own horses named after favorite foods (we once bought a little chestnut mare named Reese's Pieces Candy). |

That is a FABULOUS name, especially given her parent's names.
That spot would be called a somatic mutation (a localized mutation that will not be passed on in any form). _________________

Well, she may have a neat name, and is rather cute, but NOT the prettiest.....but then again, I am biased toward two particular greys...LOL |

She's an awkward yearling, give her time. _________________

Oh I know....be dancing circles around them. But wouldn't that be horrible of me to not at least stick up for my babies...truly?? I'm their momma after all!
Hehe...also re-read my post...kind of didn't sound nice? Not meant that way, at all...not to be offensive is what I am trying to say.
Hang on, let me see if room in mouth for other foot? |

| I just saw Aphillynamedjilly over the weekend - her full sister is one of our broodmares (chestnut, 4 stockings, a blaze & disconnected white on the lower lip . . . to keep it a color conversation). |

I can't help myself, when I see those horses I get all giggly. They are beautiful and those breeders have a knack for creative and memorable names.
My appy mare Spots on Saras Toga is a distant relation - she's out of Saratoga Sal. |
